Vicky Mulligan

Bio_Vicky_3Vicky E. Mulligan is certified as an Archetypal Counselor by Dr. Caroline Myss a five-time New York Times bestselling author and international renowned speaker in the fields of human consciousness, spirituality and mysticism, health, energy medicine, and pioneer of medical intuition. Vicky worked as a substance abuse counselor for many years while studying cross cultural healing, psycho-spiritual counseling, and various other methods of healing at the Center for Transpersonal Body/Mind Studies taught by Joanne Rossi a licensed Jungian-oriented psychotherapist and practitioner and teacher of healing.

Vicky is the founder/owner of Rest Stop Rejuvenate and is currently offering several programs dedicated to self development through archetypal awareness based on Dr. Myss's theory of Sacred Contracts™.  Vicky studied with Dr. Caroline Myss for a period of four years, in Sacred Contracts, Entering the Castle and advanced Sacred Contracts courses.  She lives the principles of Sacred Contracts and the contemplative practices she learned in studying mysticism, Entering the Castle.  Honored to teach the art of living life to its fullest potential Vicky offers classes, discussions, and individual sessions on a regular basis.

Since 1988 Vicky has been dedicated to her own personal transformation. She believes in practicing and teaching methods that offer a means of transformation and healing that can be incorporated in everyday life. In 1999 Vicky was trained in an automatic painting method developed by artist, Andrew Maishman which she calls Contemplative Painting.  In 2001 Vicky founded CoLOREnLIGHT LLC, offering this method as a tool for personal expression and self development. Over time Vicky discovered that the allegories held within each painting were archetypal patterns expressed in a visual medium. Fascinated by this experience Vicky deepened her knowledge by studying with Dr. Myss at her Institute in Chicago.

“From the moment we first entered Rest Stop we felt welcomed and at home! Vicky offers a warm and inviting space that makes everyone feel at ease and as if they are a part of a long lost group of friends. Whether you are there to just listen to the wonderful performers that come through her doors every month, or are looking to perform,  Rest Stop’s Open Mic Night has a seat for you. When we first ventured inside we never thought we would ever stand in front of a microphone and through the encouragement and friendships formed we have sung, played music and even danced the night away! If you are looking for a night out you should stop by, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and something sweet and meet up with the friends you didn’t know you had!”
