After a car accident I had earlier in the week, I needed  to take care of myself by putting things on my calendar to help with the emotional, spiritual, healing needed from the trauma.  I was happy that open mic was coming up knowing how we, as a family bond, enjoy ourselves, connect, feel safe and relax at Rest Stop and that was exactly what I needed.
