Contemplative Painting

Through movement and the expression of color you will develop paintings that provide insight into the symbolic language of your Soul. Each painting will provide you with a rich allegory filled with archetypal significance that will continue to guide you for years to come. This automatic painting method teaches participants to "let go" of their conscious mind by allowing their innate wisdom to flow onto the canvas as they learn to communicate with their body through automatic expressions of color.

Come prepared to paint ... wear clothing that you don't mind getting paint on. Short sleeve shirts are preferred since participants will be painting with their hands and forearms. If you wear acrylic nails it is advisable to wear gloves or make an appointment after your painting session to get your nails done. The paint will not come off your nails.

This creative method can be utilized in small groups as well as in an individual session.  Please note: This is not an art therapy offering.

Vicky believes in practicing and teaching methods that offer a means of transformation and healing that can be incorporated in everyday life. In 1999 Vicky was introduced to an automatic painting method developed by Andrew Maishman. Vicky was so enthralled with this form of expression that she continued to work with Andrew until 2001 in furthering the development of this unique method. In 2001 Vicky founded CoLOREnLIGHT LLC, offering this method as a tool for personal expression, self development, and symbolic insight. Vicky is passionate about incorporating this automatic painting practice with the principals of Sacred Contracts. She believes by transforming our personal stories we affect the whole as we put consciousness into action. Vicky offers workshops, archetypal guidance, readings, and classes as well as special events dedicated to assisting in the cultivation of one's highest potential.
