Holotropic Breathwork

What is a Holotropic Breathwork™ Workshop?

Developed by Stanislav Grof, M.D. and Christina Grof, leading pioneers in the field of Transpersonal Psychology, Holotropic Breathwork™ is a method of deep inner exploration that is based on insights from ancient spiritual practices, depth psychology and modern consciousness research. This highly experiential method includes deep breathing, evocative music, focused bodywork, art and group sharing within the parameters of a safe setting. While in the non-ordinary state participants can access all different levels of human experience. These can include: release of trauma (physical or emotional), biographical memories, perinatal memories and transpersonal realms (past lives, mythological, archetypal, universal). All experiences are unique to each individual and to each breathing session.
